We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead and optimize complex industrial processes for our clients in sectors such as oil & gas, chemicals, energy, and manufacturing.

Job Description

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing industrial processes. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve efficiency, sustainability, and safety in production environments. Your expertise will drive innovation and ensure that projects meet technical and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Lead the design, development, and optimization of industrial processes.
✅ Perform process simulations, calculations, and risk assessments to improve efficiency and safety.
✅ Develop and implement process control strategies to enhance operational performance.
✅ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and automation engineers.
✅ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
✅ Identify opportunities for process automation, digitalization, and energy efficiency improvements.
✅ Troubleshoot and resolve complex process engineering challenges.
✅ Provide technical expertise for project planning, execution, and commissioning.
✅ Document project progress, create reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Your Profile

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
✔ 5+ years of experience in process engineering within the industrial sector.
✔ Strong knowledge of process modeling, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
✔ Experience with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, or similar).
✔ Familiarity with P&ID development, process safety management, and HAZOP studies.
✔ Experience with PLC, SCADA, or DCS control systems is a plus.
✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
✔ Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
✔ Ability to work both independently and in a team within dynamic project environments.
✔ Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
