We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer (Werktuigbouwkundig Ingenieur) to contribute to innovative and technically complex industrial projects.

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components. You will work on projects in industries such as manufacturing, energy, and offshore engineering, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical installations.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for industrial applications.
✅ Create and analyze technical drawings, 3D models, and schematics using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
✅ Perform stress analysis, material selection, and thermodynamic calculations.
✅ Work closely with manufacturing, electrical, and automation teams to integrate mechanical solutions.
✅ Oversee testing, validation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
✅ Identify and resolve technical issues to improve reliability and efficiency.
✅ Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
✅ Prepare documentation, reports, and communicate project progress to stakeholders.

Your Profile

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Werktuigbouwkunde) or a related field.
✔ 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within an industrial or technical environment.
✔ Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for mechanical design.
✔ Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and structural analysis.
✔ Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ISO, NEN, or equivalent).
✔ Hands-on experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a plus.
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔ Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
✔ Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
✔ Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
